Kindle for Kids at Nyenga

I brought the 2 kindles and a wireless router to Nyenga. See my previous post on Planning for Africa. It was fun to introduce Kindle to kids and employees at Nyenga. The bad network connection (and lack of Amazon whispernet), made it slow and unstable to download new books. I did preload some books before I left. The Worldreader project have quite a few books titles for children at Amazon.

When the new school opens in March this will interesting to follow up on. Maybe we can start a Worldreader project for the Nyenga school in the future.

You can review your default router IP address here. Your average IP address will contain four numbers separated by full stops (period marks). An IP address based from a home network will start with 192.168. Routers usually have IP addresses such as 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.1 Router Admin Login.
